Universal Announces a new FLASH GORDON – Saviour of the Universe DVD

     April 26, 2007

I can still hear the music. If someone talks Flash Gordon I don’t think of the cheesy film, I immediately think of the amazing Queen soundtrack that still holds up today as one of the best movie soundtracks that has ever been made. After al who doesn’t know Flash! Ahhhh he’ll save every one of us.

The last Flash Gordon DVD came out in May of 1998 and it’s been out of print for awhile, so this is one of those rare times that I don’t think the studio is forcing a double dip on anyone as most don’t have this DVD to begin with.

And for those who are like me and noticed that saviour is spelled wrong, the reason is that the Queen lyric is spelled that way so Universal is calling it the “Saviour” of the Universe and not using the American spelling.

I have a ridiculous amount of DVD covers that will be posting this weekend but this one was too huge to wait. Here is the cover art and below is the list ofextras on the DVD.
