natalie-dormerFirst up from The Wrap is news on Term Life, an action-thriller adapted by screenwriter A.J. Lieberman, who wrote the original graphic novel with Nick Thornborrow.  “Vaughn stars as Nick Barrow, who plans and sells heists to the highest bidder but finds himself hunted by mob bosses, contract killers and dirty cops. To help his estranged daughter, Cate (Steinfeld), he takes out a life insurance policy on himself with her as the beneficiary — but he has to stay alive for 21 days, and takes his daughter on the run.”

Variety reports that Quinto and Dormer will star in The Girl Who Invented Kissing, an indie drama that also stars Stephen Graham (Boardwalk Empire), Timothy Simons (Veep) and Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby).  “The film follows two brothers whose lives are interrupted when a nameless young drifter walks out of the rain and into their bar.”  There are no further character or casting details at the moment.

The Wrap also reports that Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins, the new actiony indie from Coatwolf Productions (Bellflower), has added a trio to the cast.  The story centers on a generations-long turf war in the fictional seaside town of Old Port, with the Syndicate attempting to muscle out the last remaining members of the San Diego family from their land holdings.  Jonathan Keevil and Tyler Dawson star as the San Diego Twins, while Bellflower star Evan Glodell plays Chuck Hank.  The supporting cast includes Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars), Michael Pare, Steve Talley, Andrew Bryniarski (The Program), Jamil Walker Smith, Brett Gelman (Go On), Howard Rosenman (Milk), former UFC champion Don Frye and former WWE superstar John Hennigan.

“Arquette will play lead villain Lordy P, the evil Mohawk-clad boss of The Syndicate, while Bryniarski will play his gigantic brother and henchman.  De La Huerta and Bellisario are the backbone of San Diego family.”
