‘Westworld’ Episode 4 Images Tease More Gunslinging Mysteries to Come

     October 19, 2016

We’ve seen three episodes of HBO’s breakout hit Westworld at this point, and it hasn’t taken a breather from inspiring complex conversations about the morality of future tech, and spawning a whole lot of puzzle box theorizing in the process. Today, HBO has released five new images from the upcoming episode so let’s all take a breather from pondering Westworld theories…to scour this batch of images over for new clues.

The latest set of images picks up with Ed Harris‘ Man in Black on his quest to the park’s hidden maze (Clifton Collins Jr.‘s Lawrence still woefully in tow), Evan Rachel Wood‘s Delores and Jimmi Simpson‘s William sharing a gentle moment in the midst of their badlands bounty hunt, Thandie Newton‘s brothel boss Maeve sharing an intense moment with Angela Serafyan‘s “hooker with a heart of gold” Clementine, and Rodrigo Santoro‘s gunslinger….well, gunslinging. Ok, so there aren’t that many clues to be found, after all. But by all means, scour for yourself in the synopsis and images below (and if they spark a new theory, do sound off in the comments!)

And In case you missed it, we’ve done plenty of mental wheel-spinning of our own over the possible secrets hidden in Westworld’s compelling narrative, including what’s up with that mysterious maze and the popular fan theory about the Man in Black’s identity.

Westworld airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. EST on HBO. Here’s the official episode description for Cognitive Dissonance”:

Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) joins William (Jimmi Simpson) and Logan (Ben Barnes) on a bounty hunt in the badlands. The Man in Black (Ed Harris), with Lawrence (Clifton Collins, Jr.) in tow, finds a critical clue in his search to unlock the maze. Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins) and Theresa (Sidse Babett Knudsen) discuss the future of the park. Maeve (Thandie Newton) is troubled by a recurring vision.
