What Is the Deal with the Cast of SEINFELD Getting Featured in the New Season of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM?

For those that don’t know, Larry David was the co-creator of “Seinfeld” (and the character of George is loosely based on him) and is now the creator and star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” which is a lot like “Seinfeld” except it’s pretending to be David’s actual life and it’s a whole lot meaner than “Seinfeld” could ever get away with.

While all “Curb” fans (myself included) are anxiously awaiting the seventh season, EW just dropped a major bombshell and revealed that the cast of “Seinfeld” will be featured this season for a multiple-episode arc. Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jason Alexander have all appeared on the show before but it will be the first time Michael Richards will have made an appearance.

If a move like this had come at the show’s beginning, I would be rolling my eyes, calling it a borderline-spinoff move, and a sign that David couldn’t stand on his own two legs. But after knocking it out of the park for six years, you can trust the show with a move like this. Hopefully we’ll start getting other news about the new season like the premiere date and, more importantly, will Leon and the Blacks return?
