UK Trailer for THE WOMAN IN BLACK Starring Daniel Radcliffe

     October 14, 2011

The UK trailer for the gothic ghost story The Woman in Black has gone online.  Daniel Radcliffe stars as a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he discovers the locals are being terrorized by a vengeful ghost of a scorned woman.  Previous trailers have focused on conveying the tone of the movie, but this is the first one to get in depth with the plot and the characters.  It’s also the first one that allows Radcliffe to speak a few lines of dialogue.  However, it’s the aesthetic of the film that seems to override everything and since the movie looks gorgeous, I have absolutely no problem with that.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  The film also stars Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, and Alisa Khazanova.  The Woman in Black opens in the US on February 3, 2012 and in the UK on February 10, 2012.
