Atlanta Readers: Win Passes to See ‘Wonder Woman’

     May 22, 2017

Wonder Woman is one of my most-anticipated films of the summer, and I was relieved when the embargo lifted and reactions were largely positive. People seemed to genuinely like the movie, and not just in relation to the much-maligned earlier entries in the DCEU. If Wonder Woman is a success, it opens the door both to more movies featuring female superheroes, but also more blockbusters directed by women. It’s a victory all the way around, but the movie has to be good first. Thankfully, it looks like that’s the case.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 25 admit-two passes to the Atlanta screening of Wonder Woman. To enter for a chance to see the movie early and for free, send an e-mail to with the subject line “WONDER WOMAN”. The screening is on Tuesday, May 30th at 7:30PM at Regal Atlantic Station, so please don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable. Multiple entries from a single person will disqualify all entries from that person.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the latest trailer. Wonder Woman opens June 2nd and stars Gal Godot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui.

Here’s the official synopsis for Wonder Woman:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.
